The Blogging Buddha

I am at the end of a year-long Fulbright grant to South Korea. Since arriving in Korea last July, I have been working towards a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, learning basic Korean, living with a Korean family, traveling around Asia, and teaching English at an all girls' high school. My blog is a compilation of various stories and photos, detailing my life as a foreigner living in a culture that is so very different from my own.

Telephone

Here my students are playing a game called Telephone where you pass a phrase from person to person by whispering it. The last person must write the phrase correctly on the board; they are very competative and almost kill each other trying to get to the board first. As you can see from the pictures, some of the girls did not receive the memo about the switch from summer to fall uniforms.
